Hello and Welcome to our School!
I am so excited to have the awesome opportunity to equip, empower, and influence a booming community in the heart of North Nashville, where tradition and pride are present and valued! I am a native Nashvillian, and a proud product of Metro-Nashville Public Schools.
As principal of Ivanetta H. Davis Early Learning Center, my goal is to provide an exceptional early learning environment by building positive relationships, strategic planning, consistent collaboration, and effective communication of a shared vision. With these specific strategies in place, I truly believe we can produce the best possible outcomes for our youngest learners!
We have an amazing staff, whose dedication to the education of young children is evident each day as they effectively engage students in hands-on, project-based learning through play.
By focusing on continuous improvement, we will ensure our students have the necessary social-emotional and academic skills to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
It has always been my belief that parents are children’s first teachers. Therefore, it is essential that our staff, parents, families, and community play the most important role of raising, teaching, and being actively involved in the educational journey of our students.
Our school vision is, Ivanetta H. Davis Early Learning Center will be the first choice for families, when seeking a high-quality early learning environment! This happens when we partner together to make sure the home-to-school-to-community connection is intentional, responsibilities are reciprocal, and the educational impact is lifelong!
